Salon Policies

  1. Appointment Booking:
  • Feel free to reach out through our website at www.rootparlour.com or call or text us at 562-283-8621.
  • Appointments are strongly recommended to ensure you receive the desired services at your preferred time.
  • Please book your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day appointments may be available based on availability.
  • To confirm your appointment, a credit card may be required. 
  • To secure your appointment, a deposit may be required at your stylist's discretion.
  1. Cancellations:

We kindly ask for a 48-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice: You may be charged up to 50% of the service fee.
  • Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours: You may be charged up to 100% of the service fee.
  1. Late Arrivals:
  • If you arrive late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you; however, your service may be shortened to ensure the next client is not delayed.
  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a rescheduled appointment
  1. Payment Policy:
  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment options.You payment will go directly to your stylist by their preferred payment method. 
  • Gratuities are not included in service prices. While they are greatly appreciated, they are not required.
  1. Designated Parking:
  • Parking Information
  • We are fortunate to have designated parking, though it may not always be available. Feel free to use any other marked spaces in the lot. Please note that the parking lot can fill up quickly, but there is typically a fast turnover. We recommend allowing extra time to find parking before your appointment.
  • Additional options include street parking on Atherton and overflow parking in the alley behind the shopping center.
  • Please remember: We are not responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles parked in unauthorized areas.

  1. Unattended Children:
  • For the safety and comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask that children under the age of 12 are not left unattended in the salon with or without an appointment.
  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times during their visit.
  1. Service Guarantee:
  • Your satisfaction is our priority! If you are not satisfied with your service, please let us know within 48 hours from your appointment, and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
